Almost every morning during our six weeks' visit, my father and my son Mel went from the front door to buy dim sum for our breakfast; every evening after dinner, the duo left from the back door to throw away the day's trash which filled the same shopping bags they got from their morning trip. This was the first time my parents met their grandson.
