The bus terminal that was added to our street a few years ago has turned our sidewalk into a bicycle parking lot. Many commuters ride their bicycles all the way here before they take the buses, which at the end take them to Pu Dong (east side of the Huang Pu River), a new economic development zone that was formerly farm fields but is now the newest financial center in Shanghai.
